The world's tallest hotel is about to change hospitality forever

Ciel Dubai isn’t just reaching new heights - it’s redefining luxury with panoramic design, vertical gardens, and sky-high experiences.

Dubai’s got some great architectural marvels. Like the Burj Khalifa, Museum of the Future and many more.

Now, there’s Ciel, the 365-meter tower coming up in Dubai Marina. It’s not just tall; it’s trying to do something different with hotels. And when it’s done, Ciel is set to be the world’s tallest hotel. It shows how to build luxury hotels in cities where space is tight, but people have big ideas.

A Tall Order

Ciel is cool because the people who made it really thought about it. The group that made it, The First Group. They worked with an architect firm called NORR Group. They all tried to make the building, engineering, and how people feel in it all work together. Reportedly, they’re pretty much done with the structure. The hotel is 82 floors, and it has this huge, open space inside that’s 300-meters big, to let in light and air. There are even outdoor areas, so people don’t feel stuck in a tall building.

Big Deal for the First Group

Ciel is the biggest thing The First Group has ever done. Rob Burns, the CEO, reportedly said it’s going to be a great experience because of how it looks, and it shows how ambitious and creative Dubai is. There’s a pool and bar on the roof (76th floor!) and a glass deck on the 81st floor from where you can see everything.

Awards Already

Ciel is going to be part of Vignette Collection by IHG Hotels & Resorts. Even though it’s not open, Ciel has won awards at the 2019 International Property Awards, like:

Best International Hotel Architecture

Best Hotel Architecture Arabia

Best High-rise Architecture Arabia

Best Residential High-rise Architecture Arabia

It also won at the 2019-2020 Dubai, Africa & Arabia Property Awards.

As cities grapple with urban sprawl, climate concerns, and the demand for connected experiences, Ciel emerges as a case study in vertical placemaking.
